How to Speak Well of Your Self/Work without Going Through the Floor
Date and Time: Friday June 17th @ 11:30am PST
Katie Karlovitz is a public speaking strategist who partners with entrepreneurs & executives for meaningful, memorable presentations.
She believes, first and foremost, that everyone already has what it takes to deliver anywhere from a decent to a fantastic speech or presentation of any sort. This is a fact she is rock-solid sure of, based on twenty-five years of teaching regular people with little prior experience how to be confident and engaging when speaking in public. So far, only one in many hundreds of clients has not been successful, and Katie believes that’s only because she wasn’t listening to her, not because she wasn’t capable.
Katie’s technique is firmly anchored in the classical theater training she was fortunate to gain at Carnegie-Mellon University. Translated for the contemporary “stage” of business events, this technique clarifies how to identify one’s essential message for when it’s “show time” plus then learn how to prepare themselves professionally to deliver the message.
And you know what? Everyone starts out with the same questions, the same concerns and fears, and yet everyone also gets good to excellent results. Working in the NYC area for all of these years, She’s seen a lot of interesting stories. It never gets old, and it’s certainly never boring. Katie invites you to join her mailing list and website for ongoing tips on how to engage, educate and entertain any audience.
